How Reiki supports relaxation and stress relief

Who We Are
Better Energy Wellness was created from a deeply personal healing journey.
After being struck by a car while riding my bicycle, I suffered a serious upper-arm injury that required two surgeries and an extended recovery. Unable to work, I was forced to slow down and focus entirely on healing. During this time, I became aware of how closely physical recovery, emotional well-being, and stress regulation are connected.
After returning to work in healthcare, I had an unexpected experience with an energy wellness practitioner that dramatically reduced long-standing arm pain in a single encounter. That moment sparked my interest in Reiki and opened my awareness to the body’s subtle energy systems and their role in relaxation and balance.
I went on to formally train as a Reiki practitioner and founded Better Energy Wellness to help others manage stress and support their nervous system through gentle, remote Reiki sessions.
My name is Justin Cook, and I’m a certified Reiki Level I & II practitioner based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Today, I offer professional distance Reiki sessions designed to promote deep relaxation, mental clarity, and a sense of balance — all from the comfort of your own home.
